Author graduated from Škola umeleckého priemyslu in Bratislava under artistic supervision of master Ludwik Korkoš. In the past he was employed by State theatre Košice and by Slovak television as an artist and designer. Later he worked as plaster modeller in Ceramics Martin and since 1989 he is a freelance woodcarver. His artistic output is affected by folk elements as well as by modern art.
